FelixCAD includes all the 2 and 3D functions a professional CAD operator needs (save for solids modeling, planned for future release). Unlike other systems however, FelixCAD conforms completely to industry standards for layers, colors, blocks, line types, hatch patterns, fonts, and even extended entity data.

To insure full industry compliance, FelixCAD 5 directly reads and writes AutoCAD DWGâ and DXFâ files right up to R2002, enabling transparent exchange of drawings between FelixCAD and AutoCAD/AutoCAD LTâ or any other CAD that can read DWG and/or DXF files. This means when FelixCAD directly opens a DWG or DXF file created in AutoCAD, everything is displayed and stored exactly the way it should be.

Once you’ve done your edits in FelixCAD, just save the drawing as an AutoCAD R12-R2002 DWG and give it back to the person you got it from. They’ll never know you weren’t using AutoCAD to make your changes!

FelixCAD 5 – Improves The Way You Work

FelixCAD is optimized for Windows 95, 98, 2000 or NT, using the Windows Multiple Document Interface (MDI). This allows you to simultaneously open up to 4 drawings with up to 4 views of each drawing.
